Every event organiser shares the highlights after an event; the photographs, the smiling faces and carefully chosen testimonials. Whilst those moments absolutely deserve celebrating, they rarely tell the whole story.
As always, we wanted to do something different.
Following Hosted Malta 2026, every clinic owner and supplier partner was invited to complete an anonymous feedback survey. We didn't just ask whether people enjoyed themselves, but whether the meetings created genuine commercial opportunities, if the event justified the investment of their time, what could be improved and whether Hosted genuinely delivered on the promise it was built upon.
This is the first look at those findings - not marketing headlines - just honest feedback from the people who experienced Hosted firsthand.
The results painted an incredibly consistent picture.
Of the clinic owners who completed the survey, 100% rated their overall Hosted experience 5 out of 5, whilst 96% said Hosted exceeded their expectations, with the remaining respondents saying it met them.
Perhaps even more importantly, 100% said they would recommend Hosted to a friend or colleague, with almost every respondent awarding the maximum recommendation score of 10 out of 10.
70% rated Hosted as "Excellent" overall, whilst recommendation scores were overwhelmingly weighted towards 9 and 10 out of 10. More importantly, suppliers consistently reported qualified conversations, active purchasing intent and commercial pipelines already developing before they had even returned to the office.
Hosted wasn't simply well received - it generated business.

Hosted has never been about creating another event in the industry calendar. The vision was to create a unique growth platform that supported and aligned both clinic owner and supplier needs.

Every clinic owner applies to attend, sharing detailed information about their business, investment priorities and future ambitions.
Every supplier partner is carefully selected to ensure the right balance of technologies, products and business support services.
Months before anyone boards a flight, both clinic owners and suppliers review detailed profiles before selecting exactly who they want to meet. By the time delegates arrive, every conversation already has context.
Hosted is built on intent.

One of the strongest themes throughout the feedback was that Hosted is far more than a four-day event.
For many delegates, the experience began months earlier through applications, interviews, personalised business profiles, growth planning and the matchmaking process that ultimately created every meeting schedule.
During Hosted itself, 824 pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings took place across two days.
Those meetings were complemented by experiences intentionally designed to encourage conversations beyond the meeting table.
The Hosted journey began with our Welcome BBQ, where first introductions quickly became genuine conversations in a relaxed and informal setting. It also provided the perfect opportunity to officially welcome and introduce our Headline Sponsor, One Planet Aesthetics, whose commitment to education, partnership and long-term business growth aligned perfectly with the ethos of Hosted.

Tuesday began with the Myokine-sponsored sunrise 5km run, reflecting the growing importance of wellness and longevity within modern aesthetic practice before a full day of curated business meetings.
That evening, delegates came together for the Dress to Impress Gala Dinner, proudly sponsored by TSK, where relationships strengthened away from the formality of the meeting rooms.
Wednesday brought another full programme of meetings before the Hosted community boarded a traditional Turkish gulet, cruising into Valletta for an exclusive dinner at the exclusive venue, Bibi's, bringing the event to a close in the same way it had been designed from the very beginning, by creating opportunities for people to genuinely connect.

Alongside the core programme, delegates also participated in our Wellness VIP Experience, providing personalised one-to-one business strategy, clinical mentoring and practical guidance for clinics looking to integrate wellness and longevity into their future offering.
Hosted may take place over four days but the journey begins months before and continues long afterwards.
The anonymous surveys demonstrated that Hosted continues to generate meaningful commercial outcomes long after delegates return home.
Clinic owners overwhelmingly rated the pre-scheduled meetings as either 5 out of 5 (83%) or 4 out of 5 (22%), with every respondent planning to continue conversations after the event. The majority intend to follow up with between three and five suppliers, whilst over 40% expect to continue discussions with between six and ten businesses.
Commercial outcomes are already materialising.
Half of clinic owners had already completed purchases, secured partnerships or agreed collaborations before responding to the survey.
Suppliers reported substantial commercial pipelines ranging from smaller strategic opportunities through to more than £500,000, with many expecting Hosted to generate business for many months to come.
The conversations started in Malta are only just beginning.
Whilst every response was unique, several clear themes emerged.
Every meeting had purpose.
Rather than trying to identify the right people during the event, delegates consistently valued knowing that every conversation had been carefully matched before arrival.
"The meetings. So well curated. Colleagues, like-minded, authentic conversations, some now likely friends for life."
"Professionally getting to meet suppliers I would perhaps not otherwise be confident to meet, and personally connecting with like-minded aesthetic professionals."
Hosted gave delegates confidence to make better business decisions.
Many described leaving with greater clarity around future investments, stronger commercial partnerships and renewed confidence in their business plans.

Community also featured repeatedly throughout the survey.
Many delegates spoke about finding people who genuinely understood the challenges of running an ambitious clinic, creating friendships alongside commercial partnerships.
One response perhaps summarised Hosted better than we ever could.

Supplier feedback reflected many of the same themes. 100% of suppliers said Hosted is better or significantly better than other industry events.
Rather than measuring success by the number of conversations, suppliers consistently valued the quality of the clinic owners they met and the intent behind every meeting.
Many described Hosted as delivering significantly more meaningful commercial discussions than traditional networking opportunities because every clinic owner had actively chosen to meet them.
The result was stronger conversations, more qualified opportunities and long-term partnerships already developing.
Perhaps the most valuable part of an anonymous survey is that people also tell you what can be better.
Delegates shared thoughtful suggestions around meeting lengths, additional supplier categories, more wellness-focused content and small refinements to the programme.
