Leadership Summit: From Insight to Action

Held at the prestigious BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, the inaugural Leadership Summit was created to give established clinic owners the space to step back from the day-to-day and think like business leaders.

It was a deliberate pause. A chance to reflect, recalibrate and gain clarity on where businesses are now and where they want to go next.

As one delegate summed it up:
“The event you don’t quite realise how much you need, until you go.”

From the outset, the intention was clear. Bring together ambitious clinic owners. Introduce perspectives from outside the aesthetics industry. Create an environment where insight could turn into action.

The result spoke for itself. 100% of survey respondents said they would recommend the Leadership Summit to a peer.

The day was structured as a clear leadership journey, guiding delegates through three connected stages: You Now, Your Clinic Now, and Your Future Business.

You Now: Leading Yourself First

The opening sessions focused on the individual leader, something rarely prioritised in industry events.

Talks from Dan Lawrence, Dr Rachel Roberts and Nicholas McKie challenged delegates to reflect on performance, mindset, leadership style and communication. Themes included energy management, emotional regulation under pressure, leadership adaptability and navigating difficult conversations.

The emphasis was on how leaders show up, how they make decisions, and why clarity at a personal level underpins sustainable business growth.

For many, this was the first time an industry event had truly prioritised the leader before the clinic.

Your Clinic Now: Designing for the Customer

The focus then shifted to the business as it exists today. Sessions led by Liz Gebhard, Mike Baxter and Tamara Rajah MBE encouraged delegates to view their clinics through the lens of the customer.

Key takeaways centred on being unforgettable, clearly defining your customer, and simplifying and personalising the experience around them.

A standout moment was the fireside chat with Liz Gebhard, facilitated by Corinne Sawers, CEO of PatientPerfect. Drawing on Liz’s experience with Amazon, the conversation explored what true customer obsession looks like in practice. One striking takeaway was the idea of always leaving a figurative seat in the room for the customer when decisions are made.

Mike Baxter’s fireside chat pushed delegates to think differently about experience design. Drawing on his work in hospitality, he shared how a deep understanding of the customer translates into memorable moments, from packaging and creative design to experiential details such as menus designed like high-end magazines and Chanel-inspired cocktails served in perfume bottles.

Tamara Rajah MBE brought strategic clarity, unpacking how consumer behaviour has shifted. Her session explored why modern consumers are overwhelmed with choice, how value is now defined by outcomes and trust rather than price, and why loyalty must be earned repeatedly through consistent, personalised experiences.

Across all sessions, the message was consistent: pick your customer, simplify decisions, and design intentionally for them.

As Dr Kasia Brennan shared:

“The Hosted conference was fantastic and so refreshing to attend something that felt truly different from everything else in the aesthetics industry. I loved the breadth of experience in the room and the opportunity to hear business insights from other industries. I left feeling genuinely inspired, with tangible next steps to move my business forward."

Your Future Business: Building for What’s Next

The final stage of the journey looked ahead. Sessions led by Adam Morgan and Dr Kevin Matthews focused on future-proofing businesses beyond short-term growth.

Delegates explored how to build strong foundations across people, process and brand, create repeatable systems, and manage risk thoughtfully in order to grow with confidence in any economic climate.

The message was clear: sustainable growth is built deliberately, not reactively.

Turning Insight into Action

What set the Leadership Summit apart started before the day itself. Each speaker submitted three reflective questions in advance, creating 24 pre-work questions that prompted honest self-assessment.

On the day, delegates received workbooks to capture insights and set intentions, before closing with a structured three-stage goal-setting exercise led by Marcus Haycock. Insight didn’t end with inspiration, it moved towards execution.

VIP & Speaker Dinner Party

The experience extended into the evening with the VIP & Speaker Dinner Party at Quaglino’s, Mayfair.

Over champagne and a curated dinner, 55 delegates, speakers and partners came together in a relaxed setting designed for meaningful connection. With table rotations between courses, guests gained rare access to speakers and deeper, unfiltered conversations.

Partners & Community

The Leadership Summit was proudly supported by BTL, Boost My Customers, WOW Facial, HarleyDoc, Wigmore and Zenoti, with headline support from PatientPerfect.

What stood out most was not just the quality of the speakers or the venue, but the depth of conversation in the room. Honest questions. Real challenges. Leaders learning from leaders.

The Leadership Summit returns to Manchester on Friday 15 January 2027.
Early bird tickets are now available, with further details to be announced soon.
